Aginvicta
I bought this on Ebay very cheaply (paid more for the postage) and decided to build it whilst waiting for glue and paint to dry on my Occre Bus build. It's the first time I have built an Airfix train kit and for such an old kit the fit of parts was very good with no flash at all. I removed the moulded handrails from the cab and boiler and used brass wire instead. It's the first time I have tried adding extra detail and apart from the rail along the front of the boiler not being totally straight, it doesn't look too bad, better than the moulded detail anyway. When I get time I will make up a small diarama using a Ferrero Rocher plastic box for a display case. I really enjoyed building this little engine and will have to get a few more of these Airfix engine kits. Andy
