roymattblack
Fantastic stuff there. Those engine shots look amazing. This is one of the best colour schemes the older F1 cars ever had. Roy.
capri-schorsch
Yes,I used some clear sheet over the gauges. Just a punch and die set with the right diameter and that's it. The small decals comes from Wim of Bestbalsakits. They are great. Regards Christian

capri-schorsch
Hi,now the old Brabham is done.I only have to clean it up and some decals.Thats it.Finished.The building was real fun.Everything was easy with no problems at all.I wanted to make it nearly obb,but at the end i have to take the brake before i fall too deep into detailing. In my head is the next project already in my mind,so this had to be finished first. The gallery pics will follow soon. Thanks for watching and all the nice comments. That keeps me motivated.regards Christian

Steve86
Personally I'm not a fan of building anything bigger than 1/20, but I like what you have done with the Brabham.
Mumbly
Well done, one of my favourite shapes of the 70's and that livery is as iconic as the Gulf colours. I remember my elder brother making this when it was originally released, and it getting burnt with a loose cigarette on the nose cone after he finished it (not me too young back then). Superb work! jimmac2005
Hi Christian, I've not read your post in its entirety but it is a beautiful build. Sorry I'm about a year behind it! I see you have used the E.Jan 851 set for the intake/injector manifold, etc. In your experience did you find the linkage springs included were about 3mm too long or am I the only one with this dilema? macgregor
See Christians post 13, he covers this very issue. Cheers Mac

roymattblack
Another masterpiece Christian. A gorgeous model of a car from an era when they all looked great! Looking forward to your next epic. Roy.
