Andy Moore
STZ-5 Soviet Artillery Tractor Vulcan Models 1/35 I built this a couple of years ago and it was a really nice little kit with some neat touches like metal coil springs for the suspension. The tarp hanging on the side was made from tissue soaked in watered down PVA. It was a bit of a cover-up job to hide a huge thumb print on the side of the cargo bed from some spilt plastic weld. Hope you enjoy the shots Thanks for looking Andy
Gween Weeder
That is the cutest gun tractor I have ever seen. And beautifully finished.

doozer1974
Another brilliant build of yours Andy, the grime on the windscreen built up outside the arc of the wipers is a masterful detail! Would you mind sharing how you achieved that effect?

Andy Moore
Thanks everyone Another brilliant build of yours Andy, the grime on the windscreen built up outside the arc of the wipers is a masterful detail! Would you mind sharing how you achieved that effect? Thanks doozer, it was done by masking the ark of the wipers, then a light spray with matt varnish. To be honest I wouldn't do it that way again. With varnish it's hard to tell how much build up you're getting and you can easily go too heavy which this is a bit. In future I'll probably do it with thinned watercolour. Ian
Great finish. Not a vehicle/kit that I know anything about, but the finished project is just superb. Ian.
