Star Wars AT-ST, AT-AT and AT-DP camouflage schemes

Might be a little short for a Stormtrooper but close enough :D

Should be OK as Luke got away with it when he rescued Leia from the Death Star and saw him and said "little short for a storm trooper"

I wonder if you could get away with

a cage affair on the back of the head

containing a rear gunner like a

Vietnam era Huey?

There's a lot of possibilities as far as add-ons and improvements that could be made to the original design. I definitely intend on exploring some myself, plus some thought has already gone into it here:

Always wondered how you got into them? Is there some sort of ladder maybe? I can imagine at a base they would have lifts and stuff but wonder how it works in the field...

Even as a kid that bothered me :P

Yeah, thought about that myself. It's a bit like how does a TIE fighter turn? How does a Star Destroyer stop? Why does a light sabre end where it does? It's Star Wars, best not over think it. :banghead:

Actually I'd thought of doing one in a hanger setting with a walkway gantry around the head

Based this scheme on a real world US Army 82nd Airborne Division HUMVEE used in Afghanistan.

Legs, up to the hip joints in 'realtree' camouflage. Fake foliage at the knee and hip joints look like tree tops. Cabin section is sky blue or light grey with white cloud patterns (or appropriately matched to local environment.) :banghead:

This idea comes from an Iraqi Hummer.

Modified the Endor camo a little. Standard NATO colours.

I am absolutely in love with this idea!  I was finally able to see Rogue One last week, when I got home I dug the Bandai AT-ST out of the stash and put it together straight away. I am going to shamelessly steal this idea, now comes the difficult part - which scheme to use... the mind boggles :D

It's two, seven and twelve for me. Great idea for exercising the imagination! Agree that it has to look practical and effective without just replicating something used by the military on earth. I studied zoological camouflage for a bit at at university . A bloke called Abbot Thayer (if I recall correctly) developed a number of principles of zoological camouflage in the early 20th century.  If you can find his book it could provide a lot of inspiration.
