Aviation Classics Magazine

Just been flicking through the current issue of Aviation Classic magazine, the F-4 Phantom II. Quite pricey I thought at £8, but not a bad little reference. Seen quite a few of the photos in other publications but plenty of new stuff. Section on the UK navy and raf birds too.

I have a few of the series. If you think of them as a mag, then they are expensive. If however you compare them with some books with or without a soft cover they are reasonable value I think. They are up to date currently and the quality of pictures is good. I hope to buy more.

Aeroplane Icons Phantom title also on the shelves - this is basically a condensed edition of Tim McLelland's massive F-4 Phantom £55 hardback published by Classic/Ian Allan..much better title IMHO
