Coors54 Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Hardly call the F-35 off the shelf, the huge amount of development costs trying to make an all singing silk purse out of this pigs ear of an aircraft is eye watering, particularly as the UK has opted to buy the worst of all versions. Getting the best equipment for our services is unfortunately a series of political decisions that vary with every year or every senior procurement posting, resulting in massive overspend and compromise and I can't see it changing anytime soon.
