Marlin
Hi. I've now switched position in the bank and I've started to get to grips with my new worktasks. And since summer is over we've closed down the summercottage for the winter. So perhaps I'll find some free time now to continue on my ongoing builds. I'll resurrect three threads now, and hope that I'll finish the before New Years Eve. This is the situation with the Su-22. To be continued. /Bosse

Marlin
Thanks Werner I think I'll have it finished before Christmas I'm currently placing all stencils on it. I guess that will be done in a day or two. /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. I'm done with the stencil. I don't know how many there are, but atleast 200 I think. It has taken me over 20 hours to get them all in place. I'll let it rest for a few days now before I'll matt coat it. Thankfully I have some other kits to work on in the meantime. To be continued..... /Bosse

Marlin
Hi. I've decided that this Su-22 has been on the go for too long now. It's high time to get it finished. I did some small work on the blastsheilds last night. I used self adhesive metal tape from 3M and cut it to size. There are a few small bits left to add, but not too much. Hopefully I'll get this one done in a week or two. To be continued.... /Bosse
Marlin
Hi. My Su-22 is almost done. This weekend I glue the 30mm canons from Master in place. And the incredibly beautiful pitot tubes as well. I'll never do a russian aircraft without these again. I still have the canopy to fix. But I'll guess this one will be done before the weekend. To be continued..... /Bosse
Marlin
I've finally finished my german Su-22. It took almost two years to get this one done. I've grown tired of it so many times. I know that it sits too low. I got the wrong angle when I did the main undercarriage. And when I noticed it it was too late to rectify. Other than that I'm rather pleased with it, So pleased I would like to build another even. Two German Marineflieger in my display case. And now that this has left my worktable I can fully concentrate on my Six Day War project. Thanks for looking. /Bosse
John_W
Russian Pitot Tubes are bizarre objects, look more like modern art than engineering. Lovely build, makes the Tornado look a little bland and boxy.
Marlin
Thanks John_W They sure looks like that. I can't recommed Master pitot tubes enough. Incredibly value for the money spent. /Bosse
exdraken
great! you managed to finish her! chapeau! in 2 years many chances of breaking, loosing and then abandoning things..... ask me how I know.....;)
Marlin
Thanks Werner. I do agree. That's why every build on my desk has its own box. I don't want to mix things up, or misplace something. /Bosse
