New tool? That's the question. Some sources quoted these future kits as repop from the R.V. Aircraft moulds.

(...) Also, we can already tell you that we have completed production preparation for Siebel Si204A / D / E, Aero C-3A / B and the whole family Mig-23rd.
Everything will be in KP.

As dalea said, if they're accurate, very good news! :)

I like the RV one I have, But I'd like to make more than one, and they ain't exactly cheap ;)

If you liked the RV you won't deceived !

Don't be afraid , these "new" Kovozávody Prostějov MiG-23 and Siebel will be produced from R.V. moulds.

Madcop . :bye:

I hope they've made an extra sprue for some of the smaller bits that RV unwisely decided to do in PE.

Agree totally about the dislike of PE parts, otherwise the RV kits were quite good.

The only other niggle I had with the RV kits was the lack of weaponry, are these the same?.

If you do the Indian version as depicted in this kit, you will not need weapons as it is a target tug. The rear ventral fin was removed and a hook added to attach a wire and sleeve. The grey scheme was introduced by the IAF in 1999 and not 1989.

Mike, I'm not sure if the academy weapons are really good

I'm 100 % sure they're awful. :-)

Zvezda's MiG-23 / 27 kits come with two R-23's and four R-60's that aren't too shabby.

Cheers,

Andre

Decent Soviet/Russian air-to-air and/or air-to-ground weapons:

- Air-to-air weapon set by ICM #72212 (search Hannants)

- Some air-to-ground items from North Star Models (www.northstarmodels.com)

- Some air-to-ground items from Armory (search Hannants)

- Some air-to-ground items from Advanced Modeling (sorry I don't know who stocks them in the UK)
