Orso
Two more. Finally finished. The fourth prototype 37-4 It got a short life. After almost exactly one year it crashed. The forward part of the fuselage could be saved and used to build a new prototype. The 37-7. 37-6 has also been finished. Both are converted Frog/Hasegawa kits. It made the first Viggens visit abroad at the Paris Air Show 1969. Exhibition number 752. Orso
Finally done with the AJ 37 prototypes. Number seven or 37-7. The Heller kit was used as it has the saw tooth wings and the humpback spine. The only purpous built Viggen prototype I'm missing is -8 but that was the fighter prototype. What I have been concentrating on is the attack plane. Edited July 16, 2018 by Orso Photobucket sabotage
Orso
I know that they are all present in this thread but I thought that I should finish it this way. 37-1, 37-0 and 37-2 all Airfix 37-3, 37-4 and 37-5 all Hasegawa/Frog 37-6 and 37-7 are from Hasegawa and Heller. The red nose is 37-1 after modifications to wings and spine. It is a Matchbox. That is all of the AJ 37 prototypes.
