John
This is the second of the Airfix resin buildings I've painted. I have to say I find them really good fun and quite therapeutic. This is done entirely in Humbrol enamels: Base wall coat - 225 Middle Stone Roof - 123 Extra Dark Sea Grey Porch and inside of gable wall - 74 Linen Interior walls - 248 RLM 78 Himmelblau upper and 226 Interior Green lower Interior woodwork - 173 Track Colour Weathering and scorching - washes of 33 Black, 173 Track Colour and 28 Camouflage Grey mixed in various proportions and with dashes of other colours for effect. It isn't quite finished. John
Mitch K
What are these, 1/72nd scale? You're doing a lovely job here: I'm tempted to have a look at these for wargaming, if the scale is right.
John
Thanks. The notional scale is 1/76, but I would imagine it would suit 1/72 just as well. John
Niall
I've done a few of the buildings in this range. There are vacformed bases for some of the range available from here - http://www.amera.co.uk/product.php?range=a
John
Unfortunately they haven't done bases for the 2 buildings I have! Maybe one day... J

John
Thanks, but I didn't build it! It's a resin casting, my only input is the paint. John
