In case you don't recognise them

Bell XP 59 )Amodel) Campini Caproni (Valom)

Messerschmitt Me 262 V1 (Hi-planes)

Gloster E28/39 (Hi-planes) Heinkel He 280 (Huma)

Heinkel He 178 (Condor)

I thought that showing them together would give an idea of the relative sizes

There are more here

including some Russian a/c of which few have heard.

Very nicely done sir! I really like being able to see the relative sizes- interesting how big the Campini Caproni is by comparison. Is it possible that you have a Gloster Meteor prototype near completion? Wouldn't that be great- parked right next to the Me 262 V1!

Yes, there are more. There's a Meteor F1, rather than a prototype, and a clutch of Russians. No Mig 9 or 15 yet.

I'll try and get another picture if its sunny again tomorrow.

One of the reasons for posting was to show how big the XP59 and Campini Caproni were because I was surprised when I saw them.

Hi John:

Wonderful collection and good source of inspiration for all those who haven´t had a path to follow, and another road for us who already follow one.

Its a nice point to start a collection as those magnificent first machines have a nice charm and, in a cultural way, could have inside many tales and a great history to tell about the aviation advances to be a focal point of talk for many people interested in that theme!!!!. I will amply recommend your post to be watched to my local modeling pals and friends.

Thank you very much for sharing,

Cheers,

Luis Alfonso

Good to see an themed collection like this that's both interesting and well executed.
