That should get you started.....one observation though, are those main wheels supposed to be for the Hunter? The hub looks wrong and the tyre looks too fat....

All the best with your Hunter.

If you hadn't bought all the gear I would have suggested the 1/32 Revell FGA.9/Mk.58 which, in its latest guise, has the more detailed rear cockpit bulkhead and correct chord ailerons from the F.6 release. Apart from decals for Iraqi markings and instrument faces, you can pretty much build it OOB for £27 into an accurate Hunter.

thanks for the information,

I mainly build 1/48 so....not really an option! and yeah, the £27 were surpassed already ;)

are labeled as bigger and right size compared to the Academy kit ones!

  • 1 year later...

going to be started soonest here in the Hunter STGB:

http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235001594-hunter-mk59-iraqi-airforce-1967-148/

my question about the wheels here as well:

I have Maestro Moedels and SBS main wheels.... they are ""quite" different if you ask me....

which ones on an Iraqi Hunter?
