Flag_overlord
This is a very small (Federationmodels.com website says 1:3500 but I think it's 1:1000) Romulan scout ship from the TNG episode "The Defector" P1010307 by stephen.north66, on Flickr P1010308 by stephen.north66, on Flickr P1010301 by stephen.north66, on Flickr P1010302 by stephen.north66, on Flickr P1010303 by stephen.north66, on Flickr
prowler0000
OMG ( ahh, crap: now i'm a teenage girl!) I still have one of these!!! If this is 1/3500, there's something WAAAAyyyyyy out with their measurements! According to http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Lanora_class, its about 75 metres long... Nice paint-job, Sir! What colour's did you use?

What colour's did you use? Thanks a lot for the compliment about the paint job. T'was fun to do. The great thing about Romulan ships is that there doesn't appear to be a standard green - which will come in useful when I get round to the 1:3300 warbird (quite a way away as I need to learn to use an airbrush first!) I agree with you about the scale. A thought just struck me, it might be a typo. Federation Models started with a 1:537 scout ship (which is still available and it's on my list to get at some point. That's about 6" long according to their website, the scout ship above is 1". I just did a quick calculation based on your figure of 75m, and at 1:2500 it comes out at 3cm, a bit bigger than 1" - which is the advertised length. Thought: I'll stick it against the secondary hull of the 1:2500 Ent-C when I get home tonight and see what I think. Second thought - when I've done the warbird I'll put the scout against that and see what happens. I can remember which paints I used, but I can't remember the numbers so I'll try and make a list and post tomorrow lunchtime-ish.
