1/16 Entex Cadillac 1933 V16 Town Car

Recommended Posts

Owing to the missing hardware I had to compromise on the bonnet (hood) hinges and the doors. The RHS doors refused to line up in the closed position so I ended up glueing the rear passenger door slightly open, not sticking out too far to avoid being snapped off.

The LHS was much better and only needed a modest amount of adjustment for a neat fit.

Off to the Oscars? Found this doll in a box of junk, possibly a little over scale.

Engine trouble?

Some of the chrome had seen better days.

For a 35 year old kit that's been knocked about a bit I suppose it's turned out reasonably OK and has made me appreciate just how good modern kits are.

Thanks for looking.

Great looking old girl. It always fascinated me that in the depths of the depression, all these magnificent cars were designed and produced.

Nicely done.

Cheers,

Mike

A very nice large scale highly detailed car.

This car was certainly very expensive and only rich people could buy it. No dust or rust on such a car!

The kit includes a bare metal sprue.

It is older than you believe: over 40 years old.

Reboxed by Revell in the early 80's.

I could find a Rolls Royce Phantom from the same manufacturer on a second hand market but have sold it several years ago.

Have you still the instruction sheet?

If you do, could you please take photos or scan it and post it in this forum?

Thanks

I'll see if I can find the instructions. In the meantime, why not check out my WIP here:
