activexp Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 Owing to the missing hardware I had to compromise on the bonnet (hood) hinges and the doors. The RHS doors refused to line up in the closed position so I ended up glueing the rear passenger door slightly open, not sticking out too far to avoid being snapped off. The LHS was much better and only needed a modest amount of adjustment for a neat fit. Off to the Oscars? Found this doll in a box of junk, possibly a little over scale. Engine trouble? Better give it a push. Some of the chrome had seen better days. For a 35 year old kit that's been knocked about a bit I suppose it's turned out reasonably OK and has made me appreciate just how good modern kits are. No dust or rust on such a car! The kit includes a bare metal sprue.
