Erwin
Often seen in bunkers is the MG roof position. I made a loose section for the roof MG position. It fits nicely in the corner. Edited January 18, 2015 by Erwin

SaintsPhil
This is some proper old fashioned modelling! Can't wait to see you get some paint in it, what do you plan to use as a concrete colour?

Erwin
what do you plan to use as a concrete colour? That's a good question. First concider that this is "brand new" bunker build in 1944.So don't compare the colour with the present bunkers after 70 years. I've been looking around on building sites to see the colour of fresh concrete and will try to match that. Fingers crossed.

Erwin
Started to paint the bunker. As this is a "brand new" 1944 bunker it will be without aging or weathering. The colour is matched as much as possible with fresh concrete colour I saw at construction sites. I first gave a dark gray base coat .Then several lighter gray coats. The dark gray still shows through the light gray.Once the roof is done it will get a final matt clear coat.
