Hi

Perhaps this is my last post in 2014 - if I will not be ready to post my most recent model...

Again - from archive shelvs. The Focke-Wulf 190 story. I have only three models made as yet (and two in stash): Fw 190 A5 by Hasegawa ("old mould" - from 1970s.), Fw 190 D9 by Hasagawa and Ta 152 H1 by Frog (a bit upgrated). In stash I have two radial Fw 190: initial A2 (AZ) and F8 (Revell). One day I hope to do them....The Fw 190 A5 was repainted in 1998 , originally it was done in 1977 OOB. Now the A5 is in markings of lt. Rolf Strohal, I/JG 1, Deelen, Netherlands, 1942-3 - profile from book M.Murawski, Obrona Powietrzna III Rzeszy (Home defence of III Reich), vol. III, AJ Press, Warsaw 1998.

The D9 is in markings of II/JG 6, Halle, Germany, - May 1945 (fuselage RLM 81/82, wings RLM76/82) - the profile is in book: R.Michulec, Luftwaffe 1935-45, vol. IV, AJ Press, Warsaw 1997.

Ta 152 H1 is in markings of J.Keil, JG 301, Germany 1945 - profile from T.Poruba, A.Janda, "Fw 190 D & Ta 152", JaPo press, Hradec Kralove (year is not given in book!), Czech Rep.

The upgrades of Ta 152 are mainly with front cooler (scratch, completly new). I have notes, that I have used some parts from a Revell kit (for example canopy. What more? - I do not remember). I made them all in 1997-98.

Thank you very much Beard for your comment and wishies :)

They are very typical models and on BM many better quality models of Focke-Wulfs were presented.

D-9 has (IMHO) rather uniqe painting scheme, therefore I gave full references to them .

Cheers
