theplasticsurgeon
My thanks to mungo1974, Wyverns4, and Dazdot for hosting this GB - it encouraged me to build that Tomahawk kit that was such a bargain when I bought it. Thanks to Mish for organising us, and positive comments. We don't thank you enough Mish. To everybody else who contributed to the thread with encouragement or questions - it all adds value to the GB experience for me. Thanks to Casemate for providing a worthy prize in sponsorship of this GB. Finally to everybody building Curtiss P-40 models as a result of this GB - well done to you all. wyverns4
Hi Plasticsurgeon, A belated welcome to the group build and congratulations on finishing so quickly. She really is a looker and as Mungo stated there is something poetic about a 112 sqn P-40 being the first finished. theplasticsurgeon
Following a Facebook thread - I realised this aircraft should have a red spinner. Compromised by Airfix only supplying 4 colours with this Starter Kit - they also issued misleading painting instructions. Revisited and corrected.
