CliffB
Hi Lex There had to be at least one MiG-15 in this GB! I see the decal sheet says Albania -1992. 1992? Really? Cliff
Col.
Cool choice of subject Lex Interesting to see the decal artwork is a copy of the kit boxart.
Lex77
Been quit for a while. Can't decide which colour for the cockpit. The manual says pearl blue but all pictures I see seem to have a grey cockpit. Anybody who can help me with this? This is the one I'm planning to build (without the faded serial and markings)! Col.
I think the turquoise blue cockpit was only a feature of some Soviet-built machines whereas the license-built examples used grey 'pits. Hopefully someone who knows about such matters will keep us right though.
modelling minion
Early Migs (15,17,19) were finished in a medium grey colour in the cockpit, the "lovely" turquoise wasn't used until the Mig-21. I am unsure of an exact colour match but if you have a look at some walkarounds you might get an idea. I used a medium grey on a Mig-17 I built a few years ago. I believe that the greys used could vary a little so unless you have a photo of the cockpit of the actual aircraft you are going to build then nobody can prove you wrong! I hope that this is helpful to you. Craig.
