David Lengyel
Hello, this is my first take on vessels in a scale. These are 1/700 from Hobby Boss. I'm about to apply clear gloss varnish and put the decals on. I'm welcoming any hints for weathering

Shar2
That's not the Greenville Chris, that's the USS San Francisco.
David Lengyel
Thank you very much Chris for your kind words and the pictures The Los Angeles-class is not USS Greeneville though. I believe it's USS San Francisco since the diving planes are placed on her sail instead of the bow.

David Lengyel
Here's my attempt to weather the subs a bit. Hope it's not exaggerated. The scale is too damn tiny, but it's a test subject

David Lengyel
Thank you very much Chris. Here's Kursk on the way to finish. I'm going to level the surface with semi-matt varnish and then add some wet patches.
David Lengyel
I've done some weathering on the Greeneville. Since I'm not an expert or pro, I'm just playing around with oil paints and colors diluted to 90% to achieve some effects. I'm still not sure so I'm welcoming constructive comments. Cheers.
