claudius
Another model built few years ago. This 1/48 kit was a resin one by AlphaFlight, almost perfect but really expensive (Alpha Flight guy had also a superb Short Sunderland 1/48 scale, even more expensive but a fantastic kit indeed, now it is almost impossible to find it). Probably this is the longest work ever for me. It took about three months of work (I am not a patient modeller and I have an "endurance" of about 10 days before getting bored and the desire of starting a new plane overwhelms me). Main issue in this work was painting this livery called "Policiclica", that was typical of these bombers. Curl by curl... Photos are not the best. I used flash but it was not a good idea. JOCKNEY
Hi Claudius Congratulations on completing this aircraft, it has turning out brilliantly. In 1/48 this must be a big model, but if it's all Resin it must weigh a ton, what are you currently working on ? Cheers Pat

tonyot
What an amazing model and it must look spectacularly large in 1/48th scale! The camouflage is superbly done, Cheers Tony

Currently I am working on a 100% British plane.... Blenheim Mk IV, Love it!

Vulcanicity
And that is why I don't build Italian aircraft. The camo terrifies me! Yours is amazing, I'm in awe...

spitfire
That is beyond stunning, in my wildest dreams I could paint like that but sadly in reality I cannot, I find 1/32 scale Italian "poached egg" camouflage daunting enough.
