Russian Typhoon SSBN - 1/350 Hobby Boss kit

Recommended Posts

that's really nice! I like that a lot. Makes me want to make mine - although mine is the Dragon version which needs a lot of work on in to make it accurate.

I admit, I would have missed those figures had it not been for the comment about them earlier. I had no idea how huge it really is.

Do you have a link to a good site for references on the Typhoon you could share? I'd love to see it

Thanks

MH

Nice job Ken, looks really nice. Much better than the revell effort I have built which admittedly is based on the the hunt for red October, but yours looks so much better.

Might have to get one. Where did you get the crew members from ?

They are from a set of IJN crew figures from Fujimi that I am still using..... http://www.modelshipwrights.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=3687

Not the best in the world, but they do lend scale to the models.

There are some nice looking resin sets out there - from Northstar :- http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/misc/NorthStarModels/NSA350508-Figures/nsm-review.html

....but until I run out of my Fujimi figures.......
