A good selection of ideas coming through gang

Been working on a B-70K Valkyrie for too long so that's over the 25% line therefore have requested a 144th scale Concorde kit from the stash of a recently deceased fellow club member that I can hack up into something I hope he'd approve of. Previous ideas based on Hunter or Harrier projects may resurface yet though.

I've never tried this type of theme build before, but does sound interesting.

So for example, taking an aircraft and putting on markings of another country that never flew it, this meets the requirements?

regards,

Jack

Like my Swedish 262 for example?

.....or a plane of an actual operator, but not in colours it ever flew in with them?

These are my efforts from previous WHIF group builds. It also helps to create a back story too. It all adds to the fun!

I have a Hawk that's well under 25% started, I was thinking today what I could turn it into.. I got thinking about the Iranian F-5's with twin tails, the Owj F-5E Saeghe and use a new intakes etc...

Right on!

I was thinking either a Peashooter or Buffalo in Canadian markings. A Hawk 75 was also considered, but I don't think there are any decent kits in 72nd scale?

Liking the Buffalo but loving the Peashooter.

Well, there's plenty of time for a change of mind (mine's on backorder, unfortunately) but it'll probably be a Finnish F3F-2 (the premise being that the USN liked their new monoplane fighters and certainly weren't going to give them up)... or maybe I'll dust off my F-20B (two-seater), which could also qualify as a KUTA subject.

I am thinking of doing an A319 (I don't "do" airliners and I got this very cheaply) as an A319W replacement for the much loved Snoopy Hercules - Welsh Models do a Snoopy conversion kit in 1/144...might need some serious surgery...I'll have a look at the relative geometry of kit and conversion and see if it will fit
