Catching up- It's been a while!

Evening all,

It's been a very long time since I last posted on this forum for various reasons, but after lurking for a bit recently, I thought I'd try and become a little more active again, starting with a selection of models I've finished since my last visit. As is customary for me, all are in 1:72 scale.

Cyberhobby Sea Vixen FAW.1

Tamiya Spitfire Vb Trop

Hasegawa Typhoon, finished in the markings of the 3 Squadron special from a couple of years back using an Xtradecal sheet. A proper kit.

Academy Crusader. One of my favourite kits, although I struggled with the canopy far more than when I first built this kit.

Revell F/A-18F Super Hornet. A nice kit let down by rubbish decals, that silvered horribly...

Tamiya Mossie PR.IV

Finally, the Revell Arado E.555- had a lot of fun spraying this fictitious scheme

And finally, my most recent completion, the Airfix Vampire T.11.

Thanks all, very pleased to read such good feedback

Nice, clean work. Impressive Airbrush skill. What colour did you use for the underside surface of the Spitfire V?

As an almost exclusive user of Xtracolor, I used X026 Azure Blue as a base, which I subsequently lightened a touch before post shading. Here's a view of the underside to give you a better idea.

Hope that helps.

Thanks again,

Shaun :)
