activexp
I'm quite impressed with this kit from ICM, cleanly moulded parts with good detail and an almost total absence of flash. Looks like it will be an easy build. The instructions are excellent, some of the best I've seen. The chassis cross-members have very positive locations and fitted perfectly. It almost held together without glue. Next step, the engine. More to follow when I get round to it..........
activexp
Onward with fitting the engine, winch, exhaust system etc. No issues but the winch was a little tricky to mount on the front of the chassis and the manifold end of the exhaust system is a very tight fit. Eight tyres are supplied but only 7 are used. Thanks for looking.
nigelr32
I just got this kit from Poland along with the Custom factory PE set. As you say, it looks really nice. I'll keep watching and note the issues you may come across further down the road?? There's bound to be something that doesn't fit??
activexp
I was tempted by that PE set but I'm not very confident with handling it (butter fingers) No problems with fit so far but the exhaust pipe with the manifold on the end is a bit of a challenge! activexp
Next up the cab and spare wheel holder. The cab and spare wheel holder assemblies went together perfectly, no warped or badly fitting parts.
nigelr32
That has to be one of the best fitting vinyl tyres I've ever seen!!
activexp
Next up, the fitting of the cab to the chassis and the assembly of the cargo bed. That's the bulk of the assembly done. Just a few small details to add such as the extremely fragile wing mirrors and door handles. I usually end up breaking these off during handling I found the decals irksome. For example the dashboard instruments are tiny individual dials rather than one decal for the whole lot. They are also delicate and prone to disintegrating but this might be due to my clumsiness. That's about the only niggle I have with this kit.

I do like the seat color, and the spare tire is really nice. Keep up the good job!!
