Courageous
Hi all. Here is my example of a Gloster Gladiator Mk1 of the Norwegian Air Force in 1940. It is the Roden kit that I built about 8 years ago when I was going through my WW2 fighter phase. Built OOB and if memory serves me correctly, it was a 'measure twice, cut once' type of kit. Also, being my first (and last) biplane, the rigging was a baptism of fire that I didn't particularly enjoy. IIRC, I used Humbrol aluminium as the overall doping colour, national markings were airbrushed on and the numerals were DIY using decal paper and my inkjet printer. Weathering was kept to the minimum using pastels. Thanks for viewing. C & C's welcome.

Col.
An uncommon choice of markings and all the better for that. Delightful work
Courageous
Thanks for all your comments. I do like the old bird as it's a bit 'left field' of the norm that many of us do. As I said, I didn't enjoy the rigging side of things but it needed to be done. Lack of space is pushing me towards the 'Braille scale', you never know, the WW2 fighters may continue there...after my Sabre fetish that is. Darby
Nice Glad. I've got some Norwegian markings in 1/72 but have still yet to get round using them after my last Glad build failed

NorwegianWood
Fantastic build and I love the scheme (of course...). I have the same kit. If / when I get around to starting the build yours build could very well be used for reference. As inspiration for sure.
