Dermo245
Hi all, I'm not normally a figure modeller myself, being more into the winged/rotors categories. But as a long-term project, I would like to build a figure model as a gift for a relation who served in the Marine Corps. I'm considering larger than 1/35 and either from WW2, Vietnam or Desert Storm campaigns. I wouldn't know the first thing about which brands are popular but if possible, I'd prefer a full figure rather than a bust....but will compromise. Sorry for the very wide brief - any suggestions/recommendations would be gratefully appreciated! All the best, Dermot
giemme
I'd look into Verlinden's for that; you can have figures much bigger then 1/35 at "reasonable" (note that I did put it into quotation marks) price. They're normally resin. Just my Ciao
FrancieT
What about this, I've built a couple of Verlinden figures and they're straightforward. http://www.historexagents.com/shop/hxproductdetail.php?ProductCode=2562
cmatthewbacon
Try Googling "75mm US Marine figure", or "90mm" or "120mm"... they are out there in all scales and eras. As mentioned, there's Verlinden, but Pegaso and Andrea are also good names. These: http://airborne-miniatures.blogspot.co.uk/p/116-figures-and-accessories.html Look excellent for modern era stuff... bestest, M.
