My lad saw that one Rick. He thought it was a Spitfire, but wasn't 100%. Had a great experience once driving down the straight bit of the A82, near the Bridge of Orchy, on a beautifully clear summers afternoon in my silver Escort, sunroof open. Was the only car on the road at the time and a Tucano appeared out of the valley ahead and to the left of me. To this day I swear he must have said to the back seater "let's have some fun!", the nose dipped slightly and he squared up onto the main road and flicked on the landing lights as he shot over the roof of the car going hell for leather. Pagey Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Sitting in the garden and the wife was telling me how our 2 year old heard a spitfire coming before she did this afternoon, when at that moment a spitfire and hurricane flew over (I did try to get her to tell a story of 10 spitfires flying over to see if that would bring 10 spits and hurricanes over!!)
