theanorak73
very nice. good to see a "pink" spitfire thats not some strange day-glow shade. i believe, although i may be wrong, that they were a nice subtle shade like yours
Tbolt
Great looking Spitfire. I think you have got the colour just about right, I believe it was an off white like you have got, good job
Beard
That looks really smart. Can you tell me more about the paint you used, did you mix it yourself or is it off-the-shelf?
theanorak73
when i did mine i mixed the color myself. started with white and added a very small amount of red....
Spitfire31
Beautiful finish of an interesting Mark! It's actually difficult to believe that it's only 1:72nd scale. Unfortunately, you seem to have switched the main landing gears, which explains the stilty 'sit' of the machine. The gear legs should be angled forward, not perpendicular to the underwing surface. An easy mistake to make and hopefully not difficult to correct. Your model is worth it! Kind regards, Joachim
Rik
Very nice. Your paint mix is spot on the same as the Xtracolour PR Pink that I am using right now. I am trying to decide if there were any stencil and wing walk markings on this aircraft. I can't find good enough photos to prove it either way. Any ideas? Bangor Lad
Always liked but never built a Pink Spit. Lovely build of an interesting and infrequently modelled Mark. Thanks

Andre Cardoso
Hi everyone. Sorry for the delay in response. I was traveling. Thanks for the coments. I used brazilian paints (ACRILEX name) and mixed white and a little red (very little). Joachim, thanks. I corrected the landing gear. See Happy new year!
