MiG E-150 from Modelsvit

It was in stock when I ordered it on the 19th.......

At least the 'Buy Now' button that allowed me to order it was active - and I got an email confirming my order.

I know that isn't proof that it was ever in stock - but why change the buttons if it wasn't???

Although.... if it isn't now in stock, you'd think they would still have the 'Add to wish list' button ??

Hmmmmm.....

Email today from ModelsUA.........

Your order has been processed successfully.

I hope that means that it is in the post.......

Ken

No, there is "Completed" status after sending.

From my experience, "Processed" means that ModelsUA accepted and can fulfill your order.

Thanks Vladimir.

Following the 'processed' email, I got another with a link so I could pay using PayPal - which was then acknowledged via another email from PP.

So..........

Order on line - 19/11

Email on 19/11 saying 'Thanks for shopping with us'

Another one two seconds later with order details and price etc. 'Thank you for your purchase'

Email on 23/11 - 'Processed successfully'

Email on 24/11 - asking for payment via PayPal - with link to PP.

Email on 24/11 - from PP acknowledging payment.

All pretty painless so far.......

It looks good in the flesh - typical Amodel/Modelsvit limited run - but a great addition to the more unusual Soviet collection.

Nice one Modelsvit

It looks like it is a completely different kit !!!!!

Compare the fuselage mouldings - the original at top, new kit below.....

They have revised the fuselage to include a ventral airbrake insert - just ahead of the mainwheel bay.

On the original, the mainwheels bays are one piece.....

On the revised moulding, the bays are made up from 3 parts...... (like in their E-152A kit)....

It looks like a totally different kit - how strange!!!!

Even the decal sheet is revised (but with the same markings!)....

Weird........

Ken, I have written about it at once:

It's new mold:

New E-150 on a photo, in details certainly looks better than old E-150.
Whether however interests me more set will approach from MiniWorld to new E-150?

And whether it will also be possible to integrate an old cockpit in which I have inserted an interior from MiG-21 into the new fuselage?

For My general the question so isn't raised:

😆

I all the same will take new model, and old I will give somewhere, at least to children to children's club of technical creativity.
