fallmonk
Am having a go at my own WI, its going to be is a Royal Navy Chinook, my thinking is with the new carrier's there will be plenty room for these big beasts, but in another we twist I wasnt to do it in junglie white camouflage! would also like to thank a fellow member "skids" for gifting me a few royal navy decals ! like this, Edited November 18, 2014 by fallmonk

Devilfish
I don't know if you know, but the Royal Navy did look seriously at the Chinook when it bought the Sea King way back when..... I am planning on doing a 1/72 FAA Chinook, in 70's colours. Sub hunter, of course.

MarkdipXV711
Can anyone point me in the right direction of the right green for the chinook? Olive drab (U.S. army?) NATO green ? I would suggest Tamiya Olive Drab XF-62. I used it on my Hobbyboss HC4 and the colour came out well, especially after pre shading and a klear coat. My opinion though ... see below ... Col.
I'm guessing for the white if it's a temporary finish on the real machines a flawless finish wouldn't look quite right.
