Jurek Greinert
Hi, after the last heavy topic I did something easy and pleasant with additional resins. Model of Hasegawa with Aires resin cockpit (+ Eduard zoom) and landing gear. However, making the Frenchman, and even more so in the startup configuration require some modifications. Need add antenna beam especially at the end of the fin. The greatest modifications need interference slots. At the smaller French aircraft carrier had to slow down the Crusader landing to concrete parameters. It worked in practice to reduce the speed approaches 28 km / h through the expansion of mechanization of the wing, which in practice meant the use of double-pivoting / bent slots (nose flaps). This resulted in a domed profile and increase the lift force in the configuration of start / landing. So many theories ..... and modelling - slots need to cut and bend. At the end of the flavor that is great with BernaDecals. Show the painting Crusader # 35 "Crouze" during the last trip on the aircraft carrier "Foch" in 1999 during "Operation Trident" in Kosovo Painted MrHobby / SuperMetalic, some preshading but mostly shades of transparent blue at the end. Light wash is final. Finish - Humbrol Matt/ Satin 1 : 1. Edited August 4, 2017 by Jurek Greinert
