James V
All I am pleased to finally be able to share my latest build, featured in the new AMW Phantom Booklet released this week. The model itself is based on the Tamiya 1/32 scale F-4J, but converted to the UK F-4J UK Variant. The kit used a number of aftermarket parts including Aires Exhaust/Burner Cans, Cockpit, Quickboost Seats, Eduard Brassin Wheels, Wolfpack SUU-23 Cannon, DMold Intakes, and Yellowhammer Decals. The kit itself took around 3 months to build with the vast majority of the works taking place inside before being sealed up. The final colour took a while to get right as well with a zinc chromate primer being used under the correct "flint grey". I hope you like it. 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr 1/32 Scale Tamiya F-4J (UK) Phantom by JamesV9820, on Flickr Edited November 13, 2014 by James V

Selwyn
Really good F4J(UK) Fantastic paint job, really looks the part. Just one small criticism for future builds, the RAF jets used Skyflash missiles not Sparrow as depicted, and the winders should be grey.
