Old 70's ESCi kits reboxed by Revell and Italeri but so good as the new tools.

Very realistic sagging.

The machine gun was not included in the the ESCI kit.

Good work.

Thank you very much, i am not sure if this mold is Esci, but you are right, Esci kits are still great kits.

great work

Thanks Mick :-)

You're right. It insn't the Esci kit.

Revell has reboxed several Italeri/Esci kits like the Panzer 3 but not the king Tiger.

Here are photos of parts of the 2 kits:

This company is always a good source, how the plastic inside the box is looking. Revell is releasing in 1/72 their own products and in 1/76 the Matchbox kits.

As said, the Esci kits are currently released by Italeri can be made into nice builds, i hope i can get a Matilda for a good price.

Missed this first time round. Brilliant build. You must have eyes like a hawk and tiny fingers. Brilliant camo.

Thank you very much, these small scale tanks are indeed a challenge, i get often beat by the camera eye, so much for my eyes.

You can find my newest tank, a Dragon M4A1 1/72 in the gallery of the Achtung Panzer Group build

Unfortunatly some ESCI tools like Churchill AMRCR were damaged and will never be reboxed.

Italeri have bought tools and some of them are also licensed by Revell.

for example the M 48

these vietcong figures

this PZ3 M

this Panther

but this one is a Hasegawa kit

Notice that modern AFV are not so good as WWII ones.

Correct, the M48 and the Leopards have not dual road wheels but on piece rolls and for a good Panther go for the new Zvezda kit. I have tried to correct the shape problems of the Revell Panther

it s hard work but i need still better tracks, spare tracks and an additional priscope in the commanders cuppola.

Currently i have the italian M13 and a Panzer IV in my watchlist, along with a Valentine

Italeri 7517 M13-40 isn't the ESCI kit but an easy to build one: one piece tracks and wheels as the old Airfix Bren carrier!

This 7036 might be the ESCI kit:

Valentine seems out of stock:

Oddly the pack with ESCI british infantry is still avaible on Amazon.

As for the King Tiger, I' d go for Revell or Dragon in 1/72. The tracks in the Italeri and Trumpeter kits are a shame as they do not have any detail on the 'inside'. The Italeri ones -if I remember correctly- even wrong on the outside.

I got me some link & length spare tracks from Revell Germany that hopefully will fit the Italeri/Trumpeter King Tigers.

Thanks Darbs, with some care you can get the "sack" on the Revell tracks. It went quite good, so, i decided to leave of the skirts ( look much faster :mental: )

The match sticks were bought by a supermarket chain called REWE here in Germany

Thank you Joe, after all, i think the ambush camo dots should be a little smaller but it was big fun to build this kit.
