longshanks
Fancy something a bit different http://www.balatonmodellshop.co.uk/SBT-22-Gunboat and here is one I made earlier ;-) Who's going to be the first one to do a diorama with the CH-47? Plenty of reference material http://www.warboats.org/sbt22.htm Anyone know of 1/72 seals? Edited October 31, 2014 by longshanks
SeanM
Would be just perfect if it was in 1/35 scale!
RogerP
'longshanks', Do you know who stocks this kit? This is also on my 'to do' list in 1/144th scale, along with a Chinook if I can find the right kit to do the MH-47D which I believe is the one used as per the movie, which I might add I think is excellent. I would also try and do the drone, which will be a guess size wise. Der, I'm a dummy. I've just checked out their website and am quite surprised re the price, only $A39 approx plus postage, my wallet's twitching.......................quite a bit. RogerP
Hello to anyone who might??? glance at this thread, My kit arrived today and I'm quite impressed with it. The castings seem quite nice on initial inspection and although there are a couple of fine items broken, they are easily fixable. Hmm, I cannot find where/how you add a piccy. SeanM
Hi Roger you have to upload the picture to Photobucket or such and then post the link in your post. Act of Valor was a great movie. There is a great story about the making of one of the scenes...must look it up & post here
RogerP
Hi Sean, no don't have photobucket, tried to use it once, I found it too complicated then what I loaded onto it vanished. Luckily I still had the photo's filed away safely.
DavidJ
Postimage.org is an alternative to Photobucket that is very easy to use and doesn't have the annoying ads and even more annoying site unstability. Cheers David
