Ravens
Great job, and a tantalising glimpse of what could have been for the RN. Did you use stretched sprue for the rigging? Regards, Ross.

Guest
I use this ,I have been trying a new type, just as thin, but its elasticity, don't have problems with masts bending any more,I have used it on Belfast, Eagle,Hermes and Vittorio Veneto,it needs the minimum of superglue to take. There are three thickness I have the thinness of the three. The thread I use to use is below. The base I use is these are displays cases made by Trumpeter and also sold under the name Master tools, the one for Eagle was £10 for my local hobby shop
Ravens
Cheers Chewitt. I've been struggling with the stretched sprue method and always end up burning through lines that had already been fitted; I think I'll give that stuff a go the next time I do a 1/700 ship. tonyot
I love it,.....love the concept......., love the modelling,....love the name (but I`ve always thought both HMS Eagle carriers were the bees knees!),......and wish that the MoD/ Royal Navy would have had the balls to actually do this for real! We should have Hornets on the new carriers too,.....but what do we know? Cheers Tony
