Alan 47
I wanted to do a subtle weathering for this build but due to the instructions not telling you that you can't build the engine if you want the engine covers on it took a bit of fiddling and filling to get them to fit and unfortunately that's not a strong point for me so to try and hide the errors I heavily weathered it Feel free to to comment/criticise:)

Tomjw
Looks superb to me. I've got one in the stash, and seeing yours makes me want to start mine. Cheers, Tom.

Spitfire31
That was the very first kit I bought when taking up modelling again. Let me see… around 1974? Guess what – it's still in the stash! It's great to see one built, and looking so good! I understand your rationale for the weathering (she would almost look at home in 'Connie' Edwards' Texas ranch collection instead of belonging to a crack Jagdwaffe squadron in France 1940). But she still looks really good! Kudos for finishing her to such good effect. And for actually finishing her… Slick work Kind regards, Joachim

Bangor Lad
Very nicely finished build. I had one of these for Christmas when they first came out. I now have a longing to build one again but where would she go when finished? Again, a great build. Thanks for sharing.

macgregor
Great job on this old biggie & why not have a heavy battle worn look, works for me. A couple of minor points stand out to me though, the prop & the tyres look rather "mint" maybe just the photos? but a bit of prop chipping & mud wash in your treads may just enhance your great work. Cheers Mac
Vulcanicity
Great stuff! I don't think you've over-weathered that at all! My one tiny niggle would be that the swastika looks a bit tiddly-but then I suppose 1:24 swastika sheets are non-existent!
MIkeMaben
Looks good, still needs a lead wire from the antennae to the radio compartment. EZfix
Alan 47
Thanks guys , you know I never thought about the wheels and prop d'oh Yeah I had to settle for slightly smaller swashtikas as the next size up was too big Radio did have the wire but I cut it off by accident lol Thanks guys I appreciate the comments:)

TPReggie
Looks good that. I have heard these older 1:24 kits are quite tough, never tried one myself to date but this one looks lovely.
