Evening All,

On Saturday an Antontov AN-124 landed at stansted on a cargo charter, it picked up a Nigerian Air Force Merlin, for some reason this was a 12 hour turn around...

Decided to go for an in the air picture of it landing, seeing as i havent done this at stansted before...

Anyhow, pictures :)

Nice one Bradley, the first (&last) time I saw one of these in the air was at the Aus Bicentennial Airshow at Richmond, west of Sydney in 1988. Cripes, but they do take up a lot of sky, especially being displayed as low & vigorously as it was on that day. :)

That's impressive Bradley.

Great to see some of these unusual aircraft types you manage to capture.

Thanks for posting.

Chris.

Cheers Chris,

I try my best to get the Unusual ones :)
