vppelt68
I´m not sure if anyone is interested in translations to the captions in Finnish, see Troys´ message #23, but they are: Hurricane IIB number "60" in Tiiksjärvi early 1942. The RAF serial of the plane was PM 959. Above the fuselage star it says on the right hand side "For Stalin" and on the left "For Fatherland" (which you of course knew already) Number 42 had English serial of Z 2585, and it later became (Finnish) Air Force HC-465. The plane had brown/green camouflage. Regards, V-P
TPReggie
Really nice build this - and great to see something a little unusual as far as markings go as well.

Regards, V-P Hi V-P I presume the green/brown is in the photo caption, ruskea/virhea [virhea is green IIRC] Hmm, I'm not so sure, the yellow leading edges and dark underside compared to sky band lead me to think it's mixed grey and green. more on this here - http://sovietwarplanes.com/board/index.php?topic=836.msg15487#msg15487 thanks for the translations. vppelt68
All I did was translation and added a comment about the slogans. I'm glad if you liked it and I'm willing to help whenever Finnish needs to be translated :-) V-P
