dambuster
Has there ever been a model of an Algerine Class minesweeper in one of the regular ship scales (1/700, 1/350 or larger)? Peter
Niall
There is a 1/96th scale semi-kit from Deans. A semi-kit has a fibreglass hull and resin and/or white metal fittings and Plasticard sheet to make decks and superstructure. brewerjerry
Hi Is this of any use ? http://www.davecov.net/modelling/index.htm?http%3A//www.davecov.net/modelling/reference/airfixmagazinearticles/warships/1970s/august1972_algerineclassminesweepers.htm Cheers Jerry
dambuster
Thanks guys. That conversion article was new to me, Jerry, something to consider. Niall, I've got the Deansmarine Bramble in the stash (!), been there for some years - the biggest issue is that I need to draw up some more accurate plans than those in the kit and whilst I have plenty of reference material (and drawings) I was hoping for a slightly easier solution.... Thanks Peter
