PC2012
Hi, Does anyone know how to remove alclad from resin? I sprayed a couple of coats straight onto a resin engine, But don't like the effect and want to take it off and apply a primer coat first. I have sprayed alclad straight onto plastic before with no problems, but with resin it doesn't do so well. Any help would be much appreciated
Black Knight
I believe alcohol such as meths will take it off. As will Fairey Powerspray, MrMuscle or most other kitchen surface cleaners.
SaintsPhil
Might sound a bit drastic but does Cellulose thinners eat resin? If not a dip in that would get it off! Maybe try soaking a bit of the casting block...
