It's several years since I've seen one but I suspect that, other than the engines, some additional changes would need to be made to the "out of the box" RC-135 to bring it up to the current standard used by the RAF and USAF, I think the cheek antenna are slimmer and the airframes have acquired some additional lumps and bumps. I wonder if there would be enough demand for the after market industry to produce a conversion set for the RC-135U and RC135V/W based on Italeri's reissued kit?
