spaceshiprepairman
Just in case there are those who build military models exclusively, who might sneer at such a model, there is a military version, the AC-208, which can carry Hellfires. Here is a link, fresh from War is Boring, so you can check out the gory details.: https://medium.com/war-is-boring/this-tiny-plane-is-an-f-16-for-cash-strapped-air-forces-35a8823a0c2b All I'm saying is that here is another recent design which could make for the start of an interesting diorama.

The Cameraman
Hi There, It's great to see more GA aircraft. Any idea when the amphib version's to be launched, as I'll be ordering one of this for sure! Regards Reggie
Bladerunner
Hi There, It's great to see more GA aircraft. Any idea when the amphib version's to be launched, as I'll be ordering one of this for sure! Regards Reggie Reggie, I can't say when, but it will most certainly be done As planned, I started converting/chopping 2 x Cessna 208A Caravans into a 208B Grand Van. Did the lengthening of the fuselage, cabin floor panel and cargo pannier. The windows will be tricky to modify. Still a long way to go... A comparison of the fuselage halves before and after lengthening. Cheers, John

The only issue with that is the initial release is a 208 and the Iraqi AF Caravans are 208B Grand Caravans
Bladerunner
kstater94, I understand Here's an update on the Cessna 208b/AC-208b. The main landing gear legs will now be cast in a very strong black resin. So, no more metal ones to outsource for production. Busy cleaning and modifying 2 Hellfire missiles. Also filling unwanted panel lines and some of the side windows still have to be closed off and new ones cut. There is also the decal sheet for the Iraqi Air Force. Fortunately there are many parts common to the 208a, making things easier Cheers, John

busnproplinerfan
Just saw on Aviation megastore that floats are now available. Have to get a couple and a second Caravan. They're listed as 1/72 Cessna 208A/B Amphibian 72.33 on Scaleworx's site. Just can't get the cart to work.
