1/72 - Avia B-534 by Eduard - released - new boxing

Very nice. One more to add to my every-growing like-to-have list. I've always liked the B.534, especially with the enclosed cockpit - handsome little biplane.

Regards,

Jason

Isn't the fabric sagging on the wings a bit overdone?

Edit:

Or the thickness of the stringers (or how they are called) on the wing?

Possibly, but a quick look at some photos (I'm at work and don't have all my references to hand) suggests the upper surface of the wings IS pretty corrugated-looking. When I get one, if I think it's a problem, the three of us* will sort it out.

News: http://www.detailscaleview.com/2015/11/new-products-from-novemberfest-2015.html

_MG_6301.JPG

Last renders were dedicated to small Avia.

_MG_6302.JPG

As you can see, Eduard will release more versions of this Czech airplane.

_MG_6303.JPG

Moreover, they re-made some elements so that assembly is easier.

_MG_6304.JPG

All joints and connections now should be simpler in assembly.

_MG_6305.JPG

Yes, they will even release Avia with arrestor hook.

_MG_6307.JPG

This was the version that underwent trials on the Graf Zeppelin carrier.

_MG_6308.JPG

Of course, all golden parts are PE parts.

The last two images are actually 1/144 scale model. They were presented together with 1/72 scale versions.

New boxing in April 2017 -

AFAIK -there is many new corrected parts included - ie. new wings

Redesign not so deep as in 48 Gustav, but this is not a simple rebox with new box and decals.

Were there problems with the initial boxings?
