Jabo31
Hallo everybody! From time to time I`m away from my aircraft kits and want to build a military kit. Now I pick up the re-release of the Revell SpPz Luchs A1 in 1/35 scale. I know about the mistakes of the kit, but I will build it out of the box with some parts from myself. I started with the upper and lower chassis and the back plate, so the whole body is finish. After that there were four axles with all his aggregates to build. For a correct stand on all four wheels, it is important that all four axles are mounted together under the chassis, before the glue dried, so you can make some corrections for a perfect stand. I hope my English is good enough that you understand what I mean. The upper hull has some sinks marks and there was eliminated with some putty. The holes for the tools were drilled out, so its easier to glued the parts on it. I changed the tow bar, so the kit part was to small and I added new licence plates After some parts are drying, I glued the turret together and make some wire on the smoke grenade launcher. All in all, the kit goes together very well and I hope that I can give the Luchs the first coat of colour at the weekend. Best Regards, Udo.
Jabo31
Hello everybody! Another Day and more progress. I used more putty and added all the tools around the hull. The turret has become his smoke grenade launcher and some wire for the IR light. So, tomorrow I can play with the colour. Typical for a early "Luchs" are olive green. Best regards, Udo.

Jabo31
Hello together! Many thanks for your friendly comments. After all, the Checkered Flag is in sight. At the weekend I was a little bit lazy, so I put a black pre shading on the Luchs. This week I hope I can finished the Kit and start a new one. Best Regards, Udo.
