Radleigh
According to the photos, you took them before it arrived It does look nice though and apperantly in very good condition, just needs a good wash by the looks of it
Ossington 2
Sorry 'bout the date stamp. I don't remember setting it. I never use it. Fingers like tits...

bentwaters81tfw
It is a bit green. Everetts store many of their airframes in their garden. Mind you, it is a Manor house with many acres of landscaped garden. The Dominie was parked under some trees.

NAM Updater
I'd missed this thread before - don't forget the photos that are in here! Now it's inside Hangar 2 it's polishing up nicely - the latest museum member's newsletter has the first cockpit shots of the airframe, which is relatively complete! tonyot
Thanks for posting these pics and thanks to everybody a Newark for taking the trouble to preserve a Dominie and putting it under cover, especially one wearing the old red white and grey trainer colours. Cheers Tony
NAM Updater
Thank you for the kind words, here at NAM we're very grateful for the generosity of the two museum members that offered to purchase the airframe and then place it on long-term loan with the museum. Work continues with re-panelling the airframe, which looks really at home inside Display Hangar 2.
Ascoteer
Thanks for posting these pics and thanks to everybody a Newark for taking the trouble to preserve a Dominie and putting it under cover, especially one wearing the old red white and grey trainer colours. Cheers Tony Not only that, but 'T' is one of the few surviving pre-DAU aircraft (Dominie Avionics Upgrade). I have a special place in my heart for her since she is the jet I did my first Dominie 'solo' on.
Martin @ RAM Models
It is a bit green. Everetts store many of their airframes in their garden. Mind you, it is a Manor house with many acres of landscaped garden. The Dominie was parked under some trees. I've only visited once. But a unique and almost surreal setting to find airframes that you remember seeing flying. Well done to Newark and its generous members for acquiring a "less sexy" type. You just need a Hawk now guys.
NAM Updater
Ascoteer – do you have any time (Log Book entries) on XS726 that you could let the museum have? Also the avionic fit (fairly complete) was a consideration in the acquisition process. Martin – thank you for your kind words; no comment re Hawks! Ascoteer
I can did my Logbook out of the Loft. I think I frst flew T on CONVEX 5 (the Dual to Solo) followed immediately by CONVEX 5a (First Solo).
NAM Updater
We would be interested to see any Log Book entries relevant to XS726 - T, some have already been sent through.
