Lethal
Wow, that looks awesome. Great detailing inside and out. I've often almost bought this kit...looks I might just have to take the plunge and add one to the stash. Very impressive work. Love the minilites! Hamden
Can't see a lot wrong with that good job. One very small point if you don't mind me saying is that a set of HT leads would finish of the engine bay Roger

Rob G
Nice job!Lethal, it's one of Tamiya's little gems, despite its age - whoever cut the moulds for in Japan must've been a Mini nut.

Mike100
Cheers for the comments guys looks like I'm must doing it right lol I totally agree with Hamden HT leads would of been a good under bonnet touch . As for the paint it's Autotek plastic primer wet flatted with 1500 grit then on with Humbrol 239 thinned just over 2:1 with enamal thinners (not Humbrol ) and applied with a Badger 155 at 25psi. I think because of my age I'm still a Humbrol enamels man I like the way they spray but on the down side they do take an age to dry . The whole car is Humbrol enamels other than the satin black , that's Halfords satin black decanted and airbrushed as I don't like the finish the Humbrol satin black gives . Cheers Mike 😉

Gimme Shelter
Super dooper, Mini Cooper. I love the works wheel arches and BMC rosette - a real eye catcher - top marks I knew John and Michael Cooper well for many years in the 80's and early 90's - John was a true Gent. I have a picture of me with my old ex-works Cooper S with Stuart Turner, John Cooper and Basil Wales somewhere in my archives when I took my car down to their Garage one day
