FZ6
I cycled out to the Derwent Valley today to see the two Lancasters perform a couple of flypasts over the Derwent Reservoir. Followed by a very low flypast from an RAF Puma. Here's a few of my photos. I missed the Hurricane and Spitfire as I wasn't in a position to take photos but it was great to see them. FZ6
Thanks for all the comments, it was a great sight seeing two Lancasters flying down the valley. I wonder if the Canadian Lancaster will come back when Just Jane is made airworthy? Three Lancasters would be a sight. Great pics, I wish that I`d been able to attend,......was there a large crowd there? Cheers Tony It was packed out there. There were people lining the route over the reservoir all the way from Bamford to the Derwent Dam wall and beyond. Traffic was mental getting out. Which made cycling out there a good idea in the end.
