wingman47 Posted September 19, 2014 Share Posted September 19, 2014 My Corsair by tamiya, its a great kit my only problem was the wing fit the center section to the outer wing. I did added ignition harness to the engine. The rest is from the box, I did not like the look of the instrument panel with the decal on the back side. I sanded down the clear insert and placed the decal on the front side to give it a more shallow look, and I used 5 minute epoxy for the lens. I mixed the interior green and salmon for the wheel wells. The blue Gray is Mr.colour and Gunze for the Light Gray the decals are Eagle Editions Birdcage Corsair part 2. To weather the model I faded the blue gray by adding white I also used pastels, the worn paint on the wings I painted it alclad, green then blue gray.
