shood23
Hi i am looking for just a big piece of white decal for a future project and can't find anything other than the stuff on ebay that you print decals onto so i am wondering if I could just use this without putting it through a printer as i dont want a design on it i just need it for a bigish white box Shaun
bhouse
As long as you get the white decal paper it will work well as a plain white decal even if you don't print on it. Of course, if you want to be certain, you could always create a suitable white box shape in your graphics program then print that onto the decal paper first
roymattblack
If it's just a big plain white box, why not just mask it and spray with a white rattle can???? Roy.
Black Knight
FanastyPrint do A5 sheets of solid colour decal, including white. Its a bit more opaque than white print-on decal paper.
Giorgio N
I've used Testors white decal paper before and it's pretty good, quite opaque and better than the Tauromodel sheets I used before. It's also very thin. I believe that Testors paper is made by the same people who make the Bare Metal expert's choice sheets, if you can find one of these it will work fine. cmatthewbacon
Might still be worth painting... I have a number of models I used white decal paper on over the last few years, and in moving I've noticed that several of the transfers are peeling off... even after using Klear as a setting agent... shood23
Another reason for wanting to decal instead of paint is that i have had problems with zeros white in the past yellowing even with very light coats of clear but matt beings you are very knowledgeable when it comes to that paint range if you have any advice to help i would definitely consider painting Cheers shaun

Which clear did you use over the Zero White? I have a fair few models painted with Zero Pure White from a few years ago and they are still as white as the day they were sprayed. Are the models placed in direct sunlight? I have heard that this can yellow the clear over time too..
