Jonny
Today I looked in my local (UK) supermarket for Pledge. They only had two types - both for Marble / Ceramic floors - in a choice of fragrencies! Don't ask me what they were. Is this the same product we've been using for so long? I can stand the various name changes but I was wondering if the formula has been changed. It's possible my partticular branch of the supermarket has simply stopped stocking the 'old' formula. Any ideas, anyone?
S5 modeller
Hi mate. This is the stuff you should be looking for..... I got mine this year from asda. Shouldn't be too hard to find. Lakeland also stock something similar, which is supposed to be quite good, but I haven't tried it. Hope this helps. azureglo
Hi Jonny Have a read of this. The real future/klear is pretty much extinct in the UK (check ebay and you'll find prices of £20-30 a bottle pretty normal) and the new stuff is "interesting", some folks claim it works but I end up with blotches, milky canopies and other nasties. There is also Alclad Aqua Gloss which is pretty amazing and does the clearer than clear canopy thing brilliantly, See Mike s review ici. BTW i have many bottles of the "real" stuff as well as the Alclad which unlike Future does not need a course in advanced airbrush voodoo to spray . My 9.99 eurocents worth. Work In Progress
In my experience Lakeland Quick sSine is absolutely identical in appearance, function and even odour to old-school Johnsons Klear. I have stocks of both and have compared them back to back. http://www.lakeland.co.uk/20286/Quick-Shine-Floor-Finish Costs more than Klear used to but then the bottles are a lot bigger.
